The Better Roads Recovery Ministry in Hammond, Indiana, has been a haven of recovery for men and women from many states and foreign countries. Formerly the Hammond City Rescue Mission, since 1963 the Hammond Recovery Home has served to help men and women conquer their addictions, to develop a wholesome relationship with God, to secure long-term employment, to establish financial responsibility, to maintain a character level in tune with the Bible, and to ensure success with their families. Preaching that honors Christ is the heartbeat of the Hammond Recovery Home.
The Benefits of Our Program
Our full curriculum is tried and proven. Seventy-five percent of our graduates who continue to follow our principles never return.
Our addiction program, through Christ, has helped thousands of men and women in their fight against substance abuse, alcohol, overeating, gambling, sexual misconduct, cigarettes, anger, and many other destructive activities.
Spiritual growth is promoted in our structured, family atmosphere. Every Friday night there is an addiction program open to the public, with an average attendance of over 100. There are daily life-skill training services (chapel), where biblical principles are taught to help with permanent and total recovery. It would be our pleasure to help you or someone you know reconnect with God and rebuild life’s precious relationships!
HOW DO I GET THERE?
We here at the Better Roads Recovery Home would covet the opportunity to partner with you or your loved one to tear down the strongholds of addiction and make the next step of God’s growth in your, or your loved one’s, life. Please, if there is any way we could be of assistance or if you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
